Happy Equal Pay Day

Is it just me, or has there been basically no conversation on equal pay from the presidential candidates? In case you're wondering where they stand on the issue, here's the most up-to-date summary I could find. From Cosmopolitan, no less. Don't say I've never linked to Cosmopolitan.

  2. I'm guessing there will be more discussion of wage disparity once we get past the primary stage. It's a pretty good assumption that all the dem candidates have a good voting record on wage disparity, while the repubs mostly won't. There are exceptions, of course...

But since they're mostly talking to each other right now, I would bet this becomes more of an issue in the next round.

The issues that have received the most attention in this campaign so far are not at all representative of the real every day concerns of actual Americans. And maybe that's typical at this point.

  4. I always find it interesting when pundit-types are wronging their hands over the fact that in many two income households women are out-earning men, but there's still this wage gap. How much worse would the so-called women's economy be if there wasn't a wage gap?

Because all we can think about right now is immigration and national security.
