Random

I'm super busy today but promise a Miscellanea post tomorrow. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the most random keyword hit my blog has ever gotten: "are there hotdogs not made with icky stuff."     Vegetarian hot dogs taste the same as meat hot dogs. I'm not sure if that says more about meat or vegetarian substitutes...

    There's a local farm that sells organic free-range emu hot dogs at our farmer's market, and they're actually pretty good.

    Mmmm, I loves me a good (vegetarian) Chicago dog, but that neon green relish they put on them squicks me out. I don't get it - pickles are naturally green. What's with the dye?
